Cleaning off your bookshelves? Organizing your closet? Going through your files?
If you are and you have books, videos, DVD's, periodicals, newsletters or articles that you have been saving but are now ready to get rid of, pack them up and bring them to the Sign Language Services of Michigan Learning Center. We will add them to our library for others to use, or you can sell them on consignment with us.
Do you have clothing with your college name on it that you don't want anymore, but that is still in good shape? Think another student might enjoy wearing it? You can donate it to SLS and we will give it away to a student who wants it, or you may sell it on consignment with us and a student can get a good deal.

Do you have some nice, gently worn, Interpreter appropriate clothing that you want to get rid of but just know that someone in our community would benefit from having it? Bring it to the Learning Center and we will see if we can find someone who could use it.
Currently we have some really nice womens blazers and a couple of womens suits that need good homes. If you would like to come and see if you can provide a closet for them, please stop by and try them on.
THIS IS A FREE COMMUNITY SERVICE. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH SLS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS PROGRAM.
We truly want to serve our communities, and this is one way in which we feel we can do just that.

Do you have assistive technology such as tty's or vibrating alarms that still work but you have no use for them anymore? Bring these items to the Learning Center and we will find someone who needs them and give them the items. (Please make sure they still work, we have no way of fixing these items.)
Do you have hearing aids that are not being used? If you drop them off at the Learning Center we will make sure they get to places that refurbish them and give them to people in need. (Please make sure they are clean.)
