Registration
is required. Please, call to inform us if you will be attending a
session. If we do not have enough people
registered by 4pm of the Wednesday before (24 hours) we will cancel that
week's class, so registration is important.

At Bootcamp you will work with a Nationally Certified Interpreter on your expressive and receptive skills using hands on activities. You will work with other peers in group activities. Bootcamp has a proven track record of assisting Interpreters in improving their skills. You will work for the full 2 or 3 hours on fingerspelling, receptive, expressive skills and ethical dilemmas.

EIPA Bootcamps
Expressive and Receptive Practice using child models
and educational curriculum

NIC Written Bootcamp
Study group style preparation for the NIC knowledge
written test. All RID recommended reading materials are available on site or in the SLS bookstore.

Independent Interpreter Practice Labs
Come into our Learning Center and use our DVDs, and videos for Independent study. Monitored by Nationally Certified Interpreters

Tutoring in Sign Language
If you have a specific need, let us know and we will find someone to work with you. We can work on vocabulary, interpreting skills, processing or any other need that you have. You can specify a deaf or hearing tutor.
If you have a study group that needs a place to study, let us know. You can rent a room and use all our equipment and resources for your group. Additionally, if you decide that your group needs a teacher, let us know and we can provide that too!
