We have great opportunities for students.
Do you need observation hours? Contact Meghan Dedivanaj, Student Outreach Coordinator at: students@signlanguageservicesofmichigan.com Erin will help you get your observation hours and keep you “in the loop” about all our student workshops and activities.
Sign up to do your observation hours with us and learn on site with Interpreters in action! Follow Professional Interpreters in various settings and when ready, mentor with them. Watching an Interpreter in action will give you critical knowledge. Observation helps you learn what the Teachers forget to tell you. You will see a wide variety of vocabulary and sign styles. Get your notebook ready and call us now!
Want to attend workshops and network with working Interpreters? Check out the Workshops and Classes page. (Signing up to do observation hours does NOT make you an employee of SLS. There is NO CHARGE to sign up for observation hours or mentoring hours with SLS.)
